* Pure Art Nouveau, between 1900 and 1910

* By Julius Groschkus (1846–1908)

* Typical, curved lines ("whiplash" motifs) in the glazing of the central door and on the striking, organically shaped brass fittings on the sides.

* The cabinet has the classic vertico layout with a wide drawer at the top and a divided cabinet compartment below.

* The central door is glazed and serves as a display case.

* The imposing mirrored upper section is supported by architectural columns and features floral carvings (rosettes). The open compartment at the very bottom (often used as a étagère) lends the piece additional lightness.

* Made of mahogany
* Lined inside with high-quality bird's-eye maple
* The glazing is beveled all around.

Condition
* In exceptionally good condition for its age. with appropriate signs of age and use. No damage/no missing parts. One pull ring is missing from the door, and a few original countersunk screws are missing from the door locks. See photo. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
