Designed by the Copenhagen-based studio, the Yara collection combines earthy tones and tactile surfaces with abstract forms inspired by the stone and marble figurines of the ancient Cycladic era. Ferm Living specifies stoneware with a reactive glaze, which naturally produces variation from piece to piece.

The vase features an asymmetrical, biomorphic silhouette composed of three softly projecting lobes that curve from a narrow upright body. Its highly textured reactive glaze creates a porous, volcanic-like surface in mottled ivory, gray, taupe, and charcoal tones, giving the simple abstract form substantial visual depth. The irregular glaze pattern and tonal variation are intentional characteristics of the design, making each example visually distinct.

Designed to stand alone as a sculptural decorative object or to be displayed alongside other pieces from Ferm Living’s Yara collection, the vase adds organic form and tactile contrast to a console, bookshelf, mantel, pedestal, or tabletop. Its restrained palette and primitive-inspired silhouette complement Organic Modern, Contemporary, Modern, and Scandinavian interiors.
