Originally made as the elaborate upper decorative section of a Victorian upright pump or reed organ.

The richly detailed construction features incised and pierced foliate motifs, turned spindle work, applied roundels, carved architectural supports and ball finials. A tall spindle gallery crowns the piece, while the central projecting section features pierced fretwork and scalloped detailing.

Removed from its original organ, the topper now functions beautifully as a freestanding architectural decorative object or could be creatively repurposed as an elaborate wall-mounted display.

Condition:

Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear throughout, including surface scratches, rubbing, finish variation, small marks and wear to the lower platform. Some age-related movement and minor separations are visible in the wood. The piece has been removed from its original organ and is being offered as the organ topper only. Please review photographs for additional condition details.
