A beautifully textured vintage Sun Valley glass serving bowl by Studio Nova, manufactured in West Germany by Walther-Glas. Three leafy trees rise above a flowering meadow, creating a pastoral landscape molded into the glass. The softly textured background contrasts with the smooth interior, catching the light and bringing depth to the botanical design.
Measuring 10 inches in diameter and 4 inches tall, this generously sized bowl makes an attractive fruit bowl, salad server, or dining table centerpiece. Its clear glass complements colorful tableware, natural linens, and wood furnishings while allowing the landscape motif to remain the focal point.
Well suited to botanical, country, cottage, and Scandinavian-inspired interiors, its nature imagery also recalls the botanical relief designs of Oiva Toikka for Iittala. A lovely example of Walther-Glas’s decorative glass production for Studio Nova, combining practical serving proportions with a richly detailed landscape.
