Hand dovetailed throughout, on the paneled lid, the main case, and the primitive bracket feet. Made of pine with layers of its painted history over the years with gray and blue showing through. The interior of the lid has a nice picture frame molding accenting the panels. Tons of wear, and character. Old age crack on top and part of the right side foot is long missing. See last photo. The chest does sit level and square with the floor as that corner is still supported by the rear. See less
