The seven spacious drawers are each equipped with their original brass bail handles and central keyhole escutcheons. The chest is structurally sound and stands on sturdy tapered legs. The front and sides show only minor surface wear and small imperfections consistent with age and authentic use. The top shows more wear and historic character, featuring a rustic, weathered appearance with noticeable dark staining, surface scuffs, and color variations throughout the wood finish. There is a structural seam running horizontally across the back section of the top panel. The rounded corner trim on the front-left edge remains intact, and the overall surface retains a matte texture that highlights its rustic vintage charm. All drawers pull smoothly, making it a functional and stately storage piece ready for immediate use. Keys not available. less
