This refined circa 1970 French Louis XVI–style seating set consists of one sofa and two matching armchairs, combining carved solid beechwood frames with rich burgundy velvet and decorative silk-cotton upholstery. Handcrafted in France, the coordinated three-piece set reflects the balanced proportions and classical ornamentation associated with Louis XVI design.
The frames feature finely carved floral motifs, clean symmetrical lines and elegant neoclassical detailing. They have been professionally refinished in a warm antique-gold patina, which highlights the carving and gives the set a softly luminous appearance.
The sofa and armchairs have been recently reupholstered in deep burgundy velvet, with traditional capitonné button tufting across the backrests. The seats are upholstered in a high-quality silk-and-cotton blend fabric featuring a decorative scenic composition with floral elements and mountain views, adding an artistic contrast to the velvet.
