This elegant antique Queen Anne style mahogany pedestal stand features a minimalist, unadorned flat circular top with a smoothly rounded edge rather than a carved rim. The tabletop is supported by a slender, beautifully contoured turned wood pedestal pillar that exhibits a elongated baluster shape with subtle ring turnings near the top. This central support anchors into a graceful tripod base composed of three classic cabriole legs, which sweep outward and terminate in distinct pad feet. The underside of the table reveals authentic, historic construction elements, including wide structural wood cleats fastened with primitive countersunk screws, hand-fitted joinery at the leg intersections, and an underlying dark patina that highlights its age and traditional craftsmanship.
