The piece features a distinctive figural design: the bowl of the pipe is modeled as the head of a young child or novice monk, with a serene, sleeping expression, downcast eyes, and a peaceful smile. The long, gently curved stem extends from the base of the head, designed to be held in the hand or mouth. The brass surface has a warm, golden tone with a natural, aged patina and minor surface wear. The bowl opening and the mouthpiece opening are both clear and functional. This is a fascinating and unusual collector's item, combining functional design with a touch of folk art charm.
