The neck is decorated with additional archaistic-style motifs, and the vase is finished with turquoise enamel on the underside and brass-toned metal rims. The combination of the large scale, phoenix imagery, and intricate cloisonné work makes this an impressive decorative statement piece for a console, pedestal, or collected interior.
