Italy, circa 1930–1940 (Art Deco period)An elegant pair of solid alabaster pedestal tables, each with a round removable top on a carved column and circular base. Hand-carved rose and scroll detail around the tops and stems, with acanthus leaves at the bases. Warm creamy alabaster with natural veining and golden tonal variation from age.
Use as side tables, cocktail/drinks tables, end tables, or display stands. Structurally sound. Separable construction.
Dimensions (each)
24" H × 15" diameter top × 11" diameter base

Condition:

Original and structurally strong. Expected wear, marks, and an aged patina with color change and some staining, particularly on the lower stems and bases. One of the tables has a small chip on the pedestal base top where it connects to the underneath table top. Not noticeable because you don't see it unless you take the table apart. See less
