Each horse stands foursquare with its head slightly bowed and turned, adorned with a detailed saddle, bridle, and crupper. The saddle blankets feature a diamond-diaper pattern with raised bosses, while circular medallions on the flanks are decorated with relief motifs of mythical beasts or birds. The horses are finished in a rich, bright gold gilding with a smooth, polished surface and areas of darker patina in the recesses, giving them a warm, antique character. The pair are mirror images of each other, creating a balanced and elegant display. Each horse bears a small seal mark on the underside of its belly.
