The ram is beautifully detailed with a vibrant turquoise blue ground, intricately decorated with colorful floral and scrolling vine motifs in red, orange, green, purple, and white. A prominent stylized Taotie (beast face) mask motif adorns its flank. The ram features gilded bronze horns, ears, hooves, and tail, with a gilded, removable dome-shaped lid that is crowned by a standing gilt bird or mythical creature. The base bears a raised, gilded rectangular seal reading "乾隆年製" (Made in the Qianlong Period), indicating it is a vintage revival piece in the Qianlong style. This is a substantial and highly decorative piece.
