Diting is traditionally depicted as a powerful creature with a dragon-like head, single horn, and a body covered in scales, often associated with the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha. This figure is shown in a seated, alert posture with its head turned back over its shoulder. The body features finely detailed scales on the legs and flanks, a ridged spine, and a flowing tail. The piece is finished in a rich, bright gold gilding with darker brown patina in the recesses, highlighting the intricate relief work. A small, rectangular seal mark is visible on the underside of the base.
