Vintage, Brutalist, Mid Century, copper and brass metal table sculpture.
There are 8 leaf shaped holders. Five of them hold Danish Modern style Slim 12” candles.
The design features sculpted petal cups, layered leaf motifs, and rough, distressed, or scratch-detailed finishes
The first cluster of concave, petal-like or pod-like metal discs with dark patinas and gilded accents atop a stem and textured square base.
Vintage brutalist leaf and petal candelabras feature heavy, textured metalwork combining organic floral shapes with an industrial, raw aesthetic, crafted from cast brass, bronze, or forged iron which blends a mid-century brutalism's raw, chunky texture with the natural curves of flowers and vines.
The cube base is solid mixed metals and heavy for it size.
Measurements
7” W x 7” H
With 12 inch Danish candles the height is 19” H
The metal work is in the style of or possibly the work of German metal sculptor Hugo Berger (Goberg) Jugendstil
This artisan metalwork displays wonderfully as is or with Danish Modern Slim candles, available in a myriad of colors
Unique, one of a kind, sculptural work of art.
