A nine-drawer triple dresser with matching mirror from the Drexel Furniture Company, bearing the original "by Drexel" manufacturer's stamp inside the drawer. This piece is from Drexel's French Provincial bedroom collection produced in the mid-20th century, inspired by the curves of Louis XV furniture.
The dresser features a serpentine front with nine drawers arranged in three columns — six side drawers flanking three smaller center drawers — over a scalloped apron on cabriole legs. The finish is cream with gold-tone trim accents and original dark metal scroll hardware throughout. The matching mirror has a shaped serpentine frame with a carved shell crest at the top. The dresser is solid wood with dovetail drawer construction. Drawers slide smoothly.
