Each generously scaled table is constructed with a beautifully figured wood top framed by gently rounded edges, a single wide drawer faced in finely woven square-mesh cane, and coordinating caned side panels. Two understated antique-brass pulls accent each drawer.
Below, an open lower shelf provides additional display or storage space, while the gracefully splayed legs and rattan-style molded trim lend the tables a light, architectural presence despite their substantial proportions.
The rich Dark Tobacco-style finish beautifully emphasizes the wood grain and contrasts with the woven cane surfaces. One table retains its original McGuire San Francisco brass plaque, confirming the maker.
These work especially well as oversized bedside tables, end tables, or flanking tables beside a sofa. Their restrained design allows them to mix easily with modern, contemporary, transitional, organic-modern, and coastal interiors. See less
