A classic Queen Anne–style lowboy by Thomasville, made of cherry with a warm, rich finish and lots of traditional detail. It has two drawers: a long drawer across the top and a lower drawer whose front has a hand-carved fan (shell) motif at center, flanked by batwing brass pulls. The top drawer has a matching keyhole escutcheon. A scalloped apron sits on four graceful cabriole legs ending in pad feet. The top has a molded edge with notched front corners.
It's a versatile size. You could use it as an entry console, a hall table, a vanity or dressing table, a nightstand in a larger bedroom, or a small server in a dining room. The top drawer is stamped with the Thomasville mark inside.

The top has visible surface scratches and some minor scuffing on feet, but the rest of the wood is in excellent condition. The brass hardware shows mild wear, especially on the center knob. The finish has Thomasville's intentional "distressed" speckling. The piece is structurally solid and the drawers slide well. Please review all photos. less
