The lower body is encircled by a repeating raised fluted or gadrooned pattern that gives the vessel a classical architectural quality. Three decorative feet elevate the cachepot slightly from the surface, while the simple flared upper section provides an attractive contrast to the more elaborate lower body.

Decades of natural aging have transformed the original brass into a rich combination of dark antique brass, bronze and muted gold, with warmer brass tones remaining visible inside the vessel.

An attractive size for an orchid, fern, small topiary or other houseplant, the cachepot can also be displayed empty as a decorative brass vessel. Its combination of classical detailing and aged metallic finish works especially well in Hollywood Regency, Traditional, Neoclassical and Eclectic interiors. 5.125"x3.625" See less
