The signature Globetrekker range is inspired by an original trunk that Tim Oulton discovered at an antiques market. According to the brass plate mounted above the latch, the trunk had been presented to a Mr Tom Richards on 26 November 1914 as he set off on his journey from the UK to South Africa. The canvas of the original trunk has been updated in Timothy Oulton's Aero and Vellum finishes but authentic details from Tom Richard's trunk were preserved, including the hand-curved wood banding, vintage-style hardware, and even the name plaque.
Two Drawer Nightstand or mini chest - whatever works best for you.
Timothy Oulton authenticity stickers have been lost, but rest assured as with all of my other Oulton items this is authentic and purchased brand new at the store in UK.
