The design is simple and confident: a floating square top above a sculpted apron with rounded, recessed end details, set on slim tapered legs that give the piece a light, lifted look.

The top is a durable walnut-grain surface that Mersman used on many of its tables because it stands up to drinks, lamps, and everyday use far better than a veneer. The solid wood base has a warm honey tone with darker shading along the apron, giving it an appealing layered patina. The underside is stamped "Mersman 31-63," so the maker is confirmed.

Its scale and neutral finish fit mid-century, Scandinavian, and transitional rooms. See less
