This furniture piece is imperfect, it has natural occurring cracks and dents, that's what makes it so unique and beautiful. My husband and I have owned it for about 5-6 years, it has not been moved since purchasing, always in the same spot in our living room, no small kids or pets going anywhere near it, no smoking household. It has hardly been used during the years as it was used for storage of documents we don't need. The cracks and dents are not wear and tear - they are natural and that's how they were when we purchase it. It is also very sturdy, doors are perfectly aligned. I am selling it because we are going to be renovating our living room and replacing it with a decorative fireplace.
