Solid hand carved white oak bleached back to a natural champagne hue by our crew as it needed finishing when we bought it.

Classic period, or very close, Louis XVI design with carved acanthus crown below the dental trim, hand beveled glass doors with the French tradition of carved books and musical instruments of the period (representing not the items but rather the arts they inspire). This all sits on top of the lower console section (all 1 piece construction, not 2 parts) with fluted and tapered legs of the period (thanks to Marie Antoinette who thought Louis XV curved legs looked like to was ready to jump up in the air) with a lower display shelf all sitting on carved bun feet.

All wood peg construction, we added a padded silk panel to the interior (removes with 4 small screws) and heavy glass shelves (adjustable up and down by the inch) .

This fits in with kitchen, dining or living areas. To make even more original rustic, remove the back panel to expose the wood planks and add wooden shelves to use as a bookcase as it was 240 years ago.
