The front is embellished with an elaborate applied peacock motif composed of iridescent blue and green feathers surrounding a gilt bird form with a red glass eye, creating a richly dimensional decorative focal point. The case opens to reveal two original cut glass perfume bottles with faceted stoppers fitted within a lined interior compartment. Brass-tone corner mounts, hinged fittings, and a ring at the top complete the compact vanity case, which combines decorative textile work, glass, and metal ornament typical of period dressing-table accessories.
