A characterful pair of vintage Mexican folk art market figures. The standing man wears a broad hat and carries a woven basket filled with seedlike pieces; his seated companion holds a large, decorated terracotta-colored jug. Their individually modeled faces and painted, folded clothing give the pair a lively presence from every angle. Each figure is mounted on a textured rectangular base. Sold together as a set of two.
