The first is a flapper in a patterned blouse with stripped skirt. She has a very long string of pearls about her neck and is holding a feathered or fur hand bag. Behind her are two oval portraits on the wall. She is standing beside a large bowl of fruit sitting on a low table with a soft circular cushion on the floor. The illustration measures 10" x 7 1/4" and is matted with museum matboard and lined. Overall mat size is 14 5/8" x 12". Unframed. The cover is in very good condition with good color and clarity with a small crease in the lower right front corner. The cover is undated but appears to be from the early 1920's.
The second cover is dated 1923 and is of a finely dressed young woman with a wide brim hat, a white billowing bouse, a checkered long vest and a billowing stripped skirt. She is standing beside a very tall pedestal holding a blue vase of flowers and reaching for a red rose. The illustration measures 10" x 7 1/2" and is matted with museum matboard and lined. Overall mat size is 14 5/8" x 12". Unframed. This cover is in excellent condition.
