The elegant spherical body is decorated with deeply cut geometric stars, faceted leaves and sweeping linear motifs. These elaborate cuts continue along the unusually long, slender neck, demonstrating a level of precision and craftsmanship far beyond that of ordinary crystalware. The magnificent original stopper is shaped as a large, perfectly faceted crystal sphere and fits the decanter beautifully. When illuminated, the numerous polished facets capture and refract the light, producing brilliant reflections and giving the decanter an almost jewel-like presence. Even when empty, it forms an impressive decorative centerpiece for a refined bar, drinks cabinet or dining room. Its balanced shape, elongated neck and secure stopper make it particularly suitable for presenting and serving whiskey, bourbon, cognac or other fine spirits. The quality of the cutting and the clarity of the crystal represent a standard of traditional craftsmanship that today is found almost exclusively in the highest levels of luxury crystal production. Measuring approximately 32 cm high and 14–15 cm in diameter, the decanter weighs approximately 1.55 kg. It remains in exceptionally well-preserved condition, without chips, cracks or other damage.
