The subjects depict four different figurative and symbolic scenes: a soldier with a spear, a figure with an eagle, a tree with fruit and objects, and a monk holding a small bird beside a building bearing the word “Caffè”.

All four works feature handwritten pencil inscriptions, still legible with careful examination and magnification. On one of the works, the inscription was also transcribed onto the backing of the mounting, making it easier to read and document.

The technique is pencil and watercolor on paper. Each sheet measures approximately 11 × 10 cm and is presented in an elegant dark wooden frame with a finely ruled mount, giving overall dimensions of approximately 25 × 23 cm each.

The works show natural signs of age consistent with their period. The later framing enhances the series while maintaining a harmonious and coherent presentation.

The set is offered exclusively as a group of four works.
