We are pleased to present this elegant 1930s Swedish armchair, For RoseMarie, combining a sculptural Art Deco form with rich materials and excellent comfort.
Upholstered in deep green velvet, the chair is beautifully framed by warm maple details that follow the curved shape of the arms and continue down into the front legs. Its rounded sides and softly angled back give the design a refined and distinctly Scandinavian character.
During the 2000s, the chair was professionally reupholstered, including renewed webbing, fillings and springs, providing strong support and making it very comfortable for everyday use.
A stylish and highly decorative Swedish 1930s lounge chair, combining green velvet, maple and elegant period proportions.
