Handsome vintage pair of seated Black Labrador Retriever bookends, each resting on a burgundy plinth-style base accented with gilt detailing. The Labs are painted in black with coordinating gilt collars, giving the pair a classic English country / traditional library feel.
At approximately 8 inches tall, the pair has enough presence to work beautifully on a bookshelf, library console or desk without overwhelming the space. Particularly charming for a dog lover, Labrador owner, or collector of sporting and canine décor.
