Vintage Italian Turned Wood Three-Arm Candelabra / Bouillotte Lamp

Notable age-related wear. Working condition, however, the wiring is original and has not been updated. The brass arms and fittings show an attractive darkened patina. The wood has applied wood worm markings and intentional wear to give the appearance of an older piece. Two issues to note are the shade, it is no longer perfectly round (see photo), however, it is still serviceable. There is age discoloration and surface wear to be expected from age. The other issue is that the wood has become brittle in one area directly above the brass three-arm junction and caused separation. In this one area, several sections have opened outward, there is some glue present where a piece was glued back in and there is loss of wood. This is only in one small area of the lamp but it should be noted. All of this is photographed for you in the last 3 photos. I am happy to answer any questions you may have prior to purchase or to send more photos if needed.

The vendor has confirmed this piece is in working order. less
