Striking set of three whimsical frog sculptures in a bold yellow and black color palette, dating to 2003. The trio features three distinct poses and personalities, from the large reclining frog in front to two smaller upright frogs posed behind him.
Each sculpture is highly dimensional with expressive oversized eyes, dramatically splayed webbed feet, and hand-painted-style black markings against a saturated golden-yellow ground. Together, they have an especially fun early-2000s decorative-art aesthetic and make a fantastic statement grouping for a shelf, console, bookcase, sunroom, or eclectic collection.
All three pieces bear a “2003 C.C.” / copyright-style marking on the underside.
Sold as a set of three.

The sculptures show scattered surface scuffs, small areas of paint loss, and finish wear consistent with age and previous display. There is particularly noticeable wear to portions of the black painted detailing and yellow finish, including along the feet and raised areas. The imperfections are visible in the photographs and contribute to their authentic vintage character. No major structural damage is apparent from the photographs. less
