The top is made from three planks of oak with stunning reminders of its utilitarian function: moments of scoring, staining, and scratching across the richly patinated surface. Two drawers in the table's apron open smoothly with turned oak knobs. All throughout, the wooden dowels used in the table's construction are visible. The tabletop is supported by 6 turned legs, between which runs a lower shelf that doubles the table's area for potential storage or displays. This piece would be perfect for use as a console table or worksurface. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
