This is a finely cast vintage Chinese bronze figure of a mythical unicorn (a Qilin-like beast), sourced from an old collection. The creature is depicted in a seated, alert posture with its head turned and mouth slightly open, featuring a single horn, curled mane, and detailed scale-like patterns on its haunches. The body is further decorated with silver wire inlay (silver inlay) outlining the spine and flame motifs, creating a striking contrast against the dark bronze patina. It is a substantial and well-crafted decorative piece.
