This is a beautifully cast vintage Chinese bronze figure of a mythical beast, sourced from an old collection. The creature is depicted in a recumbent pose with its legs tucked underneath and its head turned to one side, featuring an expressive face with bulging eyes, a broad snout, and curled horns. The body is rendered with smooth, muscular contours and a distinct curled tail. The bronze has a rich, dark patina with remnants of gold gilding visible in the recesses, giving it a warm, aged appearance. It is a substantial and finely detailed piece of antique metalwork.
