This is a finely carved vintage Chinese wooden treasure box, crafted from rosewood (Huali wood). The box features an intricate relief carving on its lid and sides, depicting the traditional "Fu Gui You Yu" motif—a symbol of wealth and abundance—with scrolling floral patterns, lotus, and stylized fish, all set against a geometric brocade-like background. The piece is constructed with a hinged lid, a brass front clasp, and a metal carrying handle on the front panel. The wood shows a rich, warm patina with visible grain, and the interior remains clean and functional, making it an ideal decorative storage box.
