She's built from angles and carved out of light. A seated woman fractured into white lines against a warm brown ground, with her head tilted and her body folded into a web of curves and crosshatching. It's a bold, Picasso-leaning relief print, with confident cuts that range from fine hatching to thick gouged sweeps.
Pencil titled "Seated Woman," signed C. Olesen and dated '71 in the lower margin. Artist not otherwise identified. Relief print on a 16 x 20 in. sheet, presented under glass in a cream mat and a dark frame. No edition number visible.

The impression is rich and even, with no tears or creases in the sheet that I can see. The mat has mild toning and a few tiny flecks near the upper left. The frame has small nicks and paint chips along the edges. The brown paper backing is creased and torn in places, with small marks near the top where labels may once have been. No labels or inscriptions remain on the back. The wire is intact. less
