A striking 19 inch handcrafted chess board featuring luminous mother‑of‑pearl inlay paired with rich hardwood marquetry. The alternating squares combine pearlescent light tiles with deep reddish‑brown wood, creating a refined, high‑contrast playing surface that reads beautifully in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
The perimeter showcases an intricate geometric inlay border with diamond motifs — a level of craftsmanship typically found in artisan Middle Eastern or Mediterranean marquetry work. The board is framed in a stepped hardwood base, giving it presence and stability whether displayed on a console, game table, or library desk.
Perfect for collectors, decorators, or anyone who appreciates fine craftsmanship. Use as a functional chess board or as a decorative tabletop accent.
