This is … Read more "Jungle Walk" by John Kiraly, a hand-pulled limited edition serigraph published in 1989 by Key West Graphics, Inc. This is an Artist's Proof, marked "A.P." and hand-signed in pencil by the artist. The regular edition was limited to 300 impressions, plus just 30 Artist's Proofs and 6 Printer's Proofs; the screens and plates have been destroyed. Includes the original Certificate of Authenticity signed by John Kiraly and Key West Graphics.

Kiraly's lush tropical fantasy: a classical white column with a hanging brass lantern of orchids frames a view through a jungle garden of twisting trees, flowering vines and heliconias to a stone bridge with a wrought-iron sunburst railing and waterfall. A striped velvet chaise sits on a black-and-white checkered terrace in the foreground. Rich greens and turquoise with coral, gold and cobalt accents.

Printed on Coventry Rag with an image size of 30" x 36". Presented in a double cream mat with gilt fillet and a gold-leaf style frame, under glazing. Back finished with dust cover and hanging wire, with a Gallery of Fine Art label.
