This captivating glass annual plate from 1980 embodies the characteristic mythological and fantastical design language of Ernst Fuchs (1930–2015). Crafted using an elaborate relief technique, the piece depicts the winged horse Pegasus in dynamic, almost baroque-expressive motion.

The relief-like, partially frosted and partially transparent glass creates an impressive sense of depth under varying light conditions. The plate combines masterful glassmaking with the opulent symbolism of Fantastic Realism. As part of the renowned Rosenthal Studio-Line series, this piece is both a rare collector's item and a striking wall decoration or art object for the interior.
