Splendid tea service for six in fine white porcelain, made in the mid-twentieth century (1950-1959) by the prestigious German manufacturer Johann Seltmann Vohenstrauß in Bavaria (original mark and number visible on the bottom).
The set is distinguished by an elaborate gold floral decoration, embellished with elegant relief details on the wavy body and refined, scroll-shaped, fully gilded handles.
The curved lines and opulent gilding recall the pomp of Baroque and Regency styles, reinterpreted with the excellence typical of mid-century Germany.
All its prestigious features make this service perfect for both everyday use and as a precious display or collector's item.
The set includes 12 pieces in total:
* 6 teacups with scroll-shaped handles
* 6 matching saucers with scalloped edges and gilded details
Excellent vintage condition. The porcelain has no chips, cracks, or restorations. There are some slight, natural discolorations to the gilding in some areas, due to age and normal use. These do not detract from its beauty but rather testify to its historical authenticity.
