the standing crucifix is made of brass-toned metal and rests on a finely decorated pedestal base.

on the reverse is an oval reliquary under glass, measuring approximately 4.4 × 5.5 cm, containing a relic of the true cross and bearing the handwritten inscription “vera cruz”.

the reliquary retains its old red threads and ecclesiastical wax seal, preserved on the original backing.

the seal bears a small cross above the initials or monogram “jc”, together with symbolic or heraldic motifs.

very good antique condition with natural patina, oxidation and minor age-related wear. The reliquary glass, sealing threads and wax seal remain preserved.
