The ivory-colored plastic frame has a crackle-effect surface. Design origin: the design is based on french rococo wall mirrors, which acquired their characteristic form under louis xv between approximately 1730 and 1770. Characteristic of this period are the rocaille, an asymmetrically curved shell ornament, as well as c- and s-curves instead of strict axes. The models were carved, painted wooden frames that hung above console tables or between the windows of formal rooms. This reproduction translates their design language into plastic. Role in the room: due to its narrow proportions, the mirror is suitable for wall surfaces with limited width: in the entrance area, in the hallway, next to a window or above a chest of drawers, as well as in the bedroom or dressing room. In more understated rooms, the crowning element adds an ornamental accent. In historically inspired interiors, it adopts the existing design language.
