Produced in Spain by Bronces Almazán during the 1970s—a historic manufacturer renowned for the quality of its casting—these pieces bear the brand's stamp on the metal as a mark of authenticity. Their sculptural design captures the birds' features, highlighting the elegant curves of the necks and the expressive faces, achieving remarkable realism and great elegance.

The most captivating aspect of this set is its genuine patina. Over the decades, the brass has mellowed, giving way to a warmer, textured finish. Signs of use, natural wear, and subtle oxidation reveal the pieces' true age, lending them an unmistakable vintage character. These traces of history enhance their charm and attest to their authenticity as genuine period objects.

Beyond their ornamental value, these sculptures stand out for their functional versatility. Thanks to their flat bases and substantial weight, they are ideal for use as bookends, keeping volumes neatly in place. Their heft also allows them to serve as refined doorstops, adding a touch of elegance to any room. An excellent opportunity to acquire a piece of historic Spanish design—perfect for antique enthusiasts. This piece has an attribution mark,
