Italian empire consolle in wood, 1800s
Console table in wood with geometric lines, featuring a rectangular top with natural wood grain. The frieze beneath the top houses a single front drawer, fitted at the centre with a lock and a gilded drop ring. The piece is supported by four square-section legs ending in block feet; the two front legs are decorated at the upper section with gilt-bronze capitals. The console can also be used as a writing desk. Empire
