Vintage Italian ceramic bottle / single-flower vase by Bruno Gambone (circa 1970s), of a slender, elongated silhouette rising from a tapering conical base to a sinuous, undulating stem and finishing in a small, flared mouth. The speckled cream stoneware body is encircled by fine horizontal bands in blue, teal, and rust, growing progressively closer together as they ascend the neck. Thin and delicate in stature, this graceful piece has the quality of a sculptural piece as much as a vessel. In very good overall condition. Signed on the underside: 'Gambone Italy'.
