The body is deeply etched with blin's characteristic sgraffito decoration: a whimsical band of primeval motifs including a wheel, a fish, stylised figures, a spiral, and geometric bordering, set against his signature cloudy, misty glaze in soft blue-white and charcoal tones. The piece stands on four small stub feet, with a pale robin's-egg blue glaze to the interior. In good overall condition. Signature impressed on the underside: 'j. Blin'.
