The delicately … Read more Baroque walnut bureau from Piedmont, second half of the 18th century, featuring a refined play of maple inlays. The delicately curved front showcases two drawers with elegant scroll and leaf motifs, which are repeated on the rounded uprights, sides, and the upper drop-front door. The latter is supported by two pull-out supports, revealing an internal compartment with an open shelf and six drawers. The four legs and the carved, shaped apron add an extra touch of elegance. The interiors are made of poplar. The bronze handles and escutcheons add a precious detail to this period furniture piece. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
