An exceptionally handsome, bench-made pair of end tables by the prestigious Baker Furniture Company, showcasing elegant French Empire design elements. Crafted from rich, warm-toned medium brown cherry wood, each cabinet features an exquisitely banded top above a single smooth-gliding drawer and a spacious double-door cabinet compartment adorned with beautifully detailed classical brass hardware.
The standout structural details are the architectural columns flanking the doors, created with striking, book-matched burl wood grain and accented with polished brass bands that anchor the corners before leading down to classic square legs. With their superb proportions and dual-tier storage functionality, these premium case pieces are ideal for flanking a master bed as nightstands or framing a formal living room sofa. Signed with the maker's mark within the drawer interior.
