Exceptional vintage Danish mid-century modern sideboard and matching display cabinet by Bernhard Pedersen & Søn.
A striking example of Danish design, this beautifully proportioned two-piece cabinet is crafted in richly figured teak veneer, showcasing the warm honey-brown tones and distinctive vertical grain associated with Scandinavian furniture of the period.
The lower sideboard features two large tambour-style? Actually doors are flat paneled with rounded corners. Better: two expansive cabinet doors with sculptural vertical handles and softly rounded frame details, providing generous concealed storage. Above, the elevated display cabinet incorporates sliding glass doors and glass shelving, ideal for displaying ceramics, glassware, books, or collectibles.
The raised upper cabinet is supported by elegant sculptural wooden legs/supports, creating an architectural, floating appearance while maintaining the clean lines characteristic of Danish Modern furniture.
